“Masterly”, “amazing” and “out of this world”. Due to the enthusiastic reactions from the public and the high number of visitors, the ‘WOEST’ exhibition in the Outsider Art Museum is extended until Sunday 3 May 2020. The exhibition then travels on to the Collection de l’Art Brut in Lausanne and the State Hermitage in St. Petersburg. In more than four months ‘WOEST’ has received over 75.000 visitors. A great result for the Outsider Art Museum, which was opened in March 2016 by Queen Máxima.
After the exhibition at the Outsider Art Museum, Van Genk’s works of art will travel further to Lausanne and St. Petersburg. In Lausanne, the Collection de l’Art Brut will present the exhibition from 19 June to 4 October 2020. The exhibition then travels on to the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, a huge recognition for the work of Willem van Genk. The exhibition can be seen from December 3, 2020 until the end of February 2021.
